The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the date sheet for Class 10 and 12 board exams 2023 in mid-December. As per previous trends, CBSE Board Exams Date Sheets will be released around 75 to 90 days before the commencement of exams. CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are expected to start on 15th February 2023. When released, candidates can check their exam date sheet at — cbse.gov.in.
State boards including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are also expected to release the complete timetable soon. “To avoid any disruption during the conduct of examination/evaluation related activities, schools shall refrain from any construction or renovation activities in the school premises from February 15, 2023 to May 1, 2023,” the CBSE had earlier said.
CBSE practical exam, project and internal assessment will start on January 1, except for schools which are closed this month. Schools located in winter zones are expected to be closed in January so practical exams, internal evaluation and project work will be completed from November to December this year.
CBSE has also released sample papers for class 10 and 12 board exams 2023 to help students understand and practice the paper pattern. More than 34 lakh students have registered for CBSE 10th and 12th board exams 2023. About 18 lakh students are from class 10th and 16 lakh students are from class 12th.
Earlier, CBSE opted for term-wise exams during the Covid pandemic. However, the board reverted to its annual exam pattern. The exams will be conducted in a subjective format this year, and the exam paper is likely to include more multiple-choice questions and an increased critical thinking section.
