After the 1923 teaser trailer starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford managed to get everyone interested in the Yellowstone spin-off trailer, the show’s full trailer has now been dropped and shows the Duttons preparing for war. The trailer introduces us to Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton, who tries to protect his family in an intense promo.

After the events of the first series of prequels, 1883, 1923, a time of pandemics, historic droughts, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression. The show’s first trailer gives us a glimpse of what Yellowstone Ranch was like years before Kevin Costner’s John Dutton. The trailer also introduces us to Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton, who warns in the trailer, “Greed is the thing that will kill us all.”

The 1923 trailer takes us through the rugged western lifestyle of the period as Jacob prepares for “range warfare” with Donald and others. Impressively, Helen Mirren’s Cara seems to be even worse than Jacob when we see her proclaim, “Men kill quickly with a bullet or a noose, but their fight is with me and I kill much slower.” The trailer also shows us Timothy Dalton as Donald Whitfield, the Duttons’ wealthy new neighbor. At one point in the trailer, we see Cara warn him, “Well, this is Yellowstone, and you have no rights here.”

The Yellowstone origin story also stars Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Jerome Flynn, Julia Schlaepfer, Jennifer Ehle, Robert Patrick and Sebastian Roché. Before 1923, we saw 1883 with real-life couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as James and Margaret Dutton and followed their story as they traveled to Montana.
