2023 Ford Bronco Sport gets Black Diamond off-road package | Rare Techy

The Ford Bronco Sport is already more than capable enough to live up to its Bronco family branding. For a compact crossover that could still use room for improvement, Ford has added an additional off-road package for the 2023 model year. Like the larger Bronco SUV, the Bronco Sport gets the Black Diamond package.

The gear announced Tuesday will be available in Big Bend and Outer Banks editions of Bronco Sports, two mid-level outfits. This is accentuated by four steel base plates that provide additional bottom protection, including a front skid plate and fuel tank shielding. Also included in the package are unique 17-inch gray wheels that fit all-terrain tires.

To add character, the Black Diamond package also brings aggressive graphics to the Bronco Sport. A massive matte black graphic on the hood is highlighted, but the package also includes a Bronco lettering graphic on the body. The Black Diamond package is already available to order for the 2023 model year.

In addition, Ford says it will expand the participation of new Bronco Sport buyers in the Bronco Off-Roadeo program. The official off-road program was previously only available to Bronco Sport Badlands buyers, but Ford says “nearly 90 percent” of Bronco Sport buyers who attend the Off-Roadeo event will likely go off-road again. Ford is also expanding the Off-Roadeo program by adding winter weekends to its Texas and Moab programs.
