Baldwin claims that when director John McTiernan asked Ford if he knew the studio was still trying to get Baldwin back for the sequel, the Star Wars star told McTiernan to “screw him.”
Later, Baldwin recounts meeting Ford and describes him in less than flattering terms: “In person, Ford is a small man, short, gruff, blunt, with a soft voice that sounds like a door.”
Yes. In a subsequent Huffington Post column, Baldwin later explained why he was recast in the action film.
“John told me that he had been in talks for the last few months to make a movie with a very famous movie star who had dropped out of his movie a few days earlier so that he could star in the sequel to ‘The Hunt For.
