KARACHI: After considerable delay, the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK) declared the result of Part-2 Pre-Engineering for the 2022 annual examinations here on Tuesday.
Syed Hamad Mahmood bin Syed Fazal Mahmood, a student of Adamji Government College, secured the first position with 1047 marks out of 1100. Mohammad Aqib Memon of Commerce College and Ayesha Najeeb of Bahria College secured the second position with 1,042 marks and Usman Faisyab Khan of Government Degree Science Commerce College secured the third position with 1,039 marks.
1,875 passed with ‘A1’ grade, 2,322 with ‘A’, 2,914 with ‘B’ grade, 3,844 with ‘C’, 2,960 with ‘D’ and 219 with ‘E’. ‘ grade.
BIEK Controller of Exams Engineer Anwar Aleem Rajput Khanzada announced the result. This year, 58.48 percent students have passed the second year of pre-engineering. He said that 24,587 students appeared for the exam this year and 24,168 of them actually appeared. The number of successful students is 14,134 which is a pass percentage of 58.48.
The results are also uploaded on BIEK’s website www.biek.edu.pk. Apart from this, students can also check their results through BIEK’s official app which can be installed through Google Play Store.
