Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is ready to conduct the preliminary examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO)-2022 from November 3 to November 8, 2022.

However, the exam date clashes with the November 3 by-election to the Dhamnagar assembly constituency in Bhadrak district.

Considering the situation, OSSC has decided to offer rescheduling of the exam to the candidates from the constituency who have applied for the posts.

“The date of examination of BSSO Exam-2022 is fixed on 03-11-2022 and to the knowledge of all concerned if the voter of Dhamnagar (SC) Assembly Constituency wants to vote his date. The BSSO exam may be shifted to another date,” OSSC said.

Interested candidates are requested to apply with copy of voter identity card and admit letter of BSSO-2022 to the commission for consideration by November 1, 2022.

Computer based preliminary examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer will be conducted across the state. The preliminary exam of 100 marks will be of 2 hours duration. Each wrong answer will carry negative marks of 0.25 marks.

OSSC will fill 94 vacancies of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO) under SSEPD department.
