CBSE Class 12 Physics Sample Paper: All You Need to Know About Marking Scheme

• There are total 35 questions. All questions are compulsory
• There are five sections in the question paper: Section A, Section B, Section C, Section D and Section E. All categories are mandatory.
• Section A consists of eighteen MCQs of 1 mark each, Section B consists of seven questions of two marks each, Section C consists of five questions of three marks each, Section D consists of three long questions of five marks each and Section E consists of two case study based questions. Questions of 4 marks each.
• There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice is provided in categories B, C, D and E. In such questions you have to attempt only one of the choices.
• Use of calculators is not permitted.
