IBPS PO Mains Exam Covid Instructions 2022: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is scheduled to conduct IBPS PO Mains 2022 on 26 November 2022 for the selection of 8432 vacancies of Probationary Officers (PO)/Management Trainee (MT) across 11 participating banks in India. Penalty for wrong answers
Penalty will be charged if wrong answers are recorded in the objective test. For each question answered incorrectly by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks awarded for that question or 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. the candidate has not marked any answer, no penalty will be charged for that question.

IBPS PO Mains 2022: Exam Instructions
1. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes. [20 minutes compensatory time for every 60 minutes (1 hour) of the examination time for PWBD candidates eligible for compensatory time.] The clock will be set on the server. When the timer reaches zero, the test will automatically end. You do not need to close or submit your exam. Descriptive paper will be given online immediately after completion of online objective test. Applicants have to answer the descriptive paper by typing on the computer.

3. Answering a question:
Procedure for answering multiple choice type question:
A. Click on the button of one of the options to select your answer. Click the button on the selected option again or click the Clear Response button to deselect the answer you have selected. Click on the button of another option to change your chosen answer. You have to click on Save & Next button to save your answer. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. Only answer marked for review will be considered for evaluation.
B. If you want to change an answer you have already answered, select that question and follow the steps to answer that question again.
Note: Candidates cannot answer any question or check their answers after the deadline. Answers will be automatically saved when the exam time is completed even if the candidates have not clicked the submit button.
IBPS PO Mains 2022 Covid Guidelines
1. Candidates should report at the examination venue strictly as per the time on their admit card. Latecomers will not be admitted to the premises.
2. Mapping of candidate roll number and lab number will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of entering the examination venue. It will not be displayed outside the examination centre.
3. Items permitted inside the examination venue are:
- Mask (wearing a mask is mandatory)
- Gloves
- Personal transparent water bottle (Applicants should bring their own water bottle)
- Personal Hand Sanitizer (50ml)
- A simple pen and blue ink stamp pad.
- Documents related to the examination (call letter of preliminary examination along with copy of ID proof (duly authenticated / stamped). Call letter of main examination and photocopy of photo ID card and same ID card in original. ID and on call letter should be identical.
- In case of Scribe candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with photo affixed. No other items will be allowed inside the venue.
4. Candidates are advised not to share their personal belongings or material with anyone. Candidates are advised to maintain social distance and stand in line as per the instructions given at the examination venue.
5. If a candidate avails the services of a scribe, their scribe should also wear a mask and bring their own gloves, N95 mask, sanitizer (50 ml) and transparent water bottle.
6. Applicants must have Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phone. Candidates should display their Arogya Sethu status at the entry gate and then switch off their phone. Phones will be deposited in a designated area where candidates can collect them on exit.
7. All candidates and their writers will be checked with thermo gun at the entry gate to record their body temperature. No candidate with normal temperature (> 99.14° F) will be allowed to enter the examination venue.
8. Candidate Registration:
- Candidate will conduct photograph and biometric right thumb impression capture for registration. It will match the photograph uploaded by the applicants in their application form.
- A photograph of the standing candidate will be taken. After that the seat number will be allotted.
9. Rough Sheet, Call Letter, ID Proof
- Candidates can use only the rough sheets provided on the allotted desks.
- Candidates have to strictly follow the exam and covid instructions given at the exam venue. All candidates are required to leave their rough sheets, ID proofs, admit cards and scribe forms in the boxes at the exit point of the lab or room or as directed by the examination officials while leaving the examination venue.
- Post Examination Regulations
- Biometric right thumb test will be conducted for each candidate after completion of examination period. All candidates will exit the examination venue in an orderly manner and as per instructions given by the examination officials.
