SSC IMD Scientific Assistant 2022 Exam Dates: SSC IMD Scientific Assistant 2022 Exam Dates has been announced by Staff Selection Commission on 31st October 2022. The commission informed that the SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Computer Based Test is going to be conducted from December 14 to 16, 2022. Earlier, last month, the recruitment commission for SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Exam has announced. The Staff Selection Body is the recruitment body for this year’s examination. Now, as the exam dates have been announced, it is expected that the admit card will be released to all the applicants soon. SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Exam Pattern

• The written exam will be conducted online.
• The questions in the exam will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
• The first four subjects i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude are compulsory for all. Meanwhile, the second subject-specific part will be optional.
• As per the marking scheme, one mark will be awarded for correct answers and a deduction of 0.25 marks is recommended for incorrect answers.

Candidates preparing for SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Exam are advised to follow the preparation strategy mentioned in the below section. These preparation tips help students while attempting the exam and give them an edge in the competition.

• Make a habit of reading daily newspaper editorials on the internet. Over the years it has been seen that the reading comprehension in the exam is taken from editorials of The Hindu or Indian Express.
• The second subject is Reasoning Ability, which carries maximum marks. Divide the topic into two categories first puzzle and miscellaneous topics. Devote at least 2 to 2.5 hours every day for solving puzzles and seating arrangement questions from different sources.
• The topics relevant to Quantitative Aptitude section are specific. However, the types of questions asked are usually twisted and difficult to handle. Hence, experts suggest starting with easy topics in exams like quantity comparison, inequalities and quadratic equations.
• Current Affairs is the most difficult but marks scoring section of SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Exam. This is because if one has mastered the subject they can easily score 30 to 35 marks in 8 to 10 minutes. However, what needs to be done is rigorous practice and revision.
