The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to release the date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 board exams soon. Students appearing for ISC and ICSE exam 2023 are advised to check cisce.org regularly to know the exam schedule.

Class 10

The ICSE Class 10 exams are expected to be held in March next year. Exam will be in offline mode. The marking scheme for the subjects is 80 percent for written exams and 20 percent for internal assessment and project work. Out of 20 marks maximum 10 marks will be given by subject teacher and remaining 10 marks by external teacher.

The duration of the exam varies for each subject. They hold either 2 or 2.5 hours. Students can check the syllabus and previous year questions to know the chapters and topics to be covered in the exam.

Class 12

The ISC Class XII exams are also expected to be held in March next year. Exam will be in offline mode. Applicants should choose a maximum of 6 subjects including English as a compulsory subject. Each subject will have a theory paper and project works or practical. The exam will be held for three hours each. Minimum 35 percent marks for each subject.

Internal assessment for project work will be conducted by the subject teachers during the practical examination or practical work assessed by the visiting examiner. Candidates who fail to qualify in any subject can appear in the compartment examination which is held one month after the declaration of the final result.

Step 3: Now, a PDF document will appear on the screen
