CLAT 2023 Exam Date: Law Admission Registration Ends November 13; Exams in December | Rare Techy

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has started the registration process for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply online for Law Entrance Test at the official website. LLB and LLM application for CLAT 2023 must be submitted by November 13 at the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Meanwhile, candidates who have completed the registration and fee payment process can access the CLAT 2023 sample exams from CNLU. Let us tell you that the Common Law Admission Test will be held on December 18, 2022.

Candidates should know that this is the first time that two CLAT exams will be held in the same year. CLAT 2022 was held on 19 June and CLAT 2023 is already scheduled for December 2022.

The exam conducting body is yet to confirm whether the CLAT 2023 exam pattern and syllabus will be updated or will remain the same as the CLAT 2022 exam.

CLAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have qualified 12th class or appeared in board exams are eligible to appear for CLAT UG 2023.
Candidates need to secure 45 percent or equivalent marks in the qualifying exam for CLAT UG 2023 and 50 percent marks for CLAT PG.

CLAT 2023: Exam Pattern

The Law Entrance Test will be conducted in pen and paper mode of two hours (120 minutes) duration. CLAT UG 2023 exam will consist of 150 multiple choice questions, each worth one mark. 0.25 marks will be deducted from the final score for each wrong answer. CLAT PG will have 120 multiple choice questions with similar marking and deductions as UG paper. English Language, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques are all covered in CLAT UG 2023 Syllabus.

CLAT 2023 will be conducted for admission to 22 national law colleges. Candidates taking CLAT 2023 also have the option to get admission in law schools other than NLUs using their CLAT scores.
