CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023

The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced that the CLAT 2024 exam will be held in December 2023. The All India Level Law Entrance Examination will be conducted for admission to five-year BA, LLB (Hons) and LLM programs for the academic year. 2024-2025. The CLAT 2024 application form will be available on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in from next year.

Consortium of NLUs announced CLAT 2024 exam details in its recent notification. “The CLAT 2024 will be held in 22 participating NLUs in December 2023 for admission to five-year integrated BA, LLB (Hons) and LLM programs commencing in the academic year 2024-2025,” the consortium of NLUs said in a statement. .

CLAT 2023 application process is still ongoing. Interested candidates can register for the entrance exam till 13 November 2022. The CLAT 2023 exam will be held on December 18 in pen-and-paper mode. The duration of the exam is two hours (120 minutes). The CLAT exam is conducted for candidates seeking admission in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 22 NLUs across the country.
“The CLAT exam is conducted only ‘once’ for admission to each academic year. No additional, second or any other CLAT exam will be conducted for admission to programs commencing in the academic year 2023-2024,” it added. Candidates who failed to get admission in their preferred institution through CLAT 2022 held in June 2022 are eligible to re-appear for CLAT 2023 after completing fresh registration. Also, those appearing for Class 12 exam in May 2023 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2023.
