New Delhi: The pre-board examinations for classes 10 and 12 in government schools in Delhi will begin from December 15, the Directorate of Education (DoE) said on Wednesday. DoE has released a circular with exam schedule and guidelines for students and teachers. According to the DoE circular, the pre-boards will be from December 15 to December 28.
The exams will be held in two shifts, morning and evening. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and evening shifts are from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. As per the guidelines, no student is allowed to submit their answer sheets to the invigilator till the end of the shift.
Only 24 students have one invigilator in each classroom. Schools should collect the question papers from the zonal distribution center on time and failure to do so will result in strict action being taken against them.
Schools will announce the course schedules for both the classes. On the official website of CBSE, students can check the marking structure and syllabus of the exam. According to the schedule and date sheet of each board, the board exams will start from February 2023. Many state boards have already made their schedules public. National boards like CBSE and ICSE are yet to reveal their 2023 board exam dates.
