Exams for PG courses may begin in mid-January | Rare Techy
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Devi Ahalya Vishwavidyalaya is likely to conduct the first semester exams of traditional courses like MA, MCom, MSc in mid-January.
The development comes as the Higher Education Department has indicated to DAVV that it will provide admission information within two days.
Once the data is received, the university will start enrolling students and then provide enrollment numbers. This process may take three to four weeks. Students will be given a window of 14 days to fill the examination forms. Then, the timetable will be announced around 10 days before the start of the exam.
Generally, the information of students admitted in DHE colleges is sent to the university by the month of September through centralized online counselling. This year, the admission process was completed within the stipulated time frame, but there were delays.
The university has hinted that the PG exams will begin in mid-January and conclude within 30 days.
Final year exams for traditional UG courses like B.Com, BA and BSc are scheduled on February 20 and will continue for 30 days. After that, the University UG 2nd year exams will start in the last week of March and UG 1st year exams in the first week of May.
MBA 3rd semester exams from 21st December
The university has also released the timetable for MBA third semester exams. The exams will start on December 21. Before that, the MA third semester exams will start on December 16.
