The IBPS PO Mains Exams will be held this month on November 26. The preliminary phase of the exam was held on October 15, 16 and 22 in different slots. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts IBPS PO Exam for candidates seeking employment as Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainee (MT) for 8432 vacant seats across 11 participating banks in India. IBPS PO Interview Admit Card is expected to be released in January or February next year. The main examination will be held on descriptive paper where the candidates will be judged on their writing skills. IBPS PO Mains Exam will have two sections including Essay and Letter Writing. It will be of 25 marks and candidates should complete it within 30 minutes. An automated scoring system will be in place to evaluate the descriptive test.
Candidates who qualify the IBPS PO Mains exam will be called for the interview round. The interview process will carry 100 marks and the minimum marks to qualify for this round is 40 percent for general category and 35 percent for SC, ST, OBS and PWD category candidates as per previous trend.
The final selection of candidates for the post of Probationary Officer will be based on the main examination and interview process. A merit list will be generated after the interview process candidates can see their names on the official website. Those who qualify in the list will be issued joining letter by the bank of their choice.
