The Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, has postponed all examinations of the university and affiliated colleges scheduled from July 20 to 27 due to Kanwar Yatra starting from July 15.
Officials said that the new dates of the postponed exams will be announced on the university website.
The Kanwar Yatra will begin on July 15 and conclude on July 26 on Shivaratri.
The local administration has ordered a diversion of the route in the region as devotees will flock to the Kanwar Yatra in large numbers this year.
B.Ed and semester examinations of various professional courses are held in the universities and affiliated colleges. Exams for LLB and LLM courses are from July 12.
As per the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations of the University, all other examinations will be conducted as per the scheduled dates. Meanwhile, new dates for three B.Ed papers have been announced. Paper Code E-201, scheduled for July 15, will now be held on July 28, Paper Code E-202 has been rescheduled for July 30, and Paper Codes E-208 and E-209 will be held on August 1.
The CCSU administration has advised the students to keep checking the university’s website for new exam dates and other related information.
