With seating for eight or room to live the e-van life.

This week, Ford Pro unveiled the new E-Tourneo Custom, an MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that is essentially an electric luxury van. The vehicle has flexible seating for up to eight people, decent performance and luxurious technology inside and out. It’s perfect for businesses or those who want to live the van life.
While the company already has E-Transit and E-Transit Custom, these are fleet vehicles and not something you want to use for personal use. However, the new all-electric E-Tourneo Custom is a top-of-the-line utility vehicle with all the bells and whistles that will make its debut in early 2024.
Ford has confirmed that the new van will be available with an all-electric, PHEV or diesel engine. All models are equipped with independent rear suspension, optional AWD, can tow up to 2500kg and are designed for companies that want to do more, family trips or the adventurous.

The new electric van includes the same large 74 kWh battery cell technology as the F-150 Lightning electric truck and is estimated to have a range of 230 miles (370 kilometers). It supports 125kW DC fast charging, not to mention 2.3kW Pro Power Onboard. This means outdoor enthusiasts can use the onboard power for anything and everything.
In addition, the new Ford electric van has flexible rear seats with a track that can be facing each other or in a normal position, and sliding the seats for more storage space is quite nice. As you can see in the picture above, it fits comfortably on the kayak.
Ford Pro Europe GM Hans Shep had this to say:
“Whether it’s an active family weekend getaway or a driver’s style, comfort and refinement to the airport, the E-Tourneo Custom’s all-electric powertrain, advanced connectivity, cutting-edge design and new luxury features make it a compelling choice.
Owners can also enjoy a premium interior, power side doors, tilt steering wheel, B&O audio, panoramic sunroof options, roof rack, digital key card access and a large infotainment screen.
The Ford E-Tourneo is fully loaded with Ford Pro software, charging solutions, business management tools and more. However, this is just the first announcement and we will learn more throughout 2023 before it arrives in early 2024.
