Government is reviewing arrangements for smooth conduct of JKSSB exams | Rare Techy

Srinagar: To ensure smooth conduct of JKSSB examinations to be held from November 29, 2022, the Divisional Commissioner (DV Com) has called a meeting to review the arrangements made at Pandurang K Poll examination centers in Kashmir.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Chairman JKSSB, Police officials, PHE, KPDCL were also present in the meeting.

To ensure better management and integrity of the examination centers set up at Srinagar, Baramulla and Budgam, the DVCom directed the district administrations to look into past institutional recall related to traffic management, parking space, law and order issues and copying issues.

He directed to resolve all such issues immediately and asked to submit a copy of the action taken to the JKSSB administration.

He exhorted the DCs to review the examination centers and conduct spot checks for arrangements with heads of institutes and their staff.

DV Com directed to issue 144 CrPC orders and deploy police and magistrates to ensure law and order around exam centres.

He emphasized on taking precautionary measures and issuing orders without ambiguity.

To ensure proper functioning of computers at the centres, Paul emphasized on deploying computer literate staff of institutions, NIC and other government employees to check the working of the gadgets.

He also asked for third-party audit of computers and deployment of supervisors to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

In view of the cold weather, the DV Com has also directed to ensure heating arrangements in the examination centers apart from availability of drinking water and first aid medical facilities.
