Los Angeles, Nov 28 (IANS): Paramount+ has released the first full trailer for “1923,” the upcoming spin-off to the Yellowstone franchise from returning creator and executive producer Taylor Sheridan, Variety reports.
The limited series features a new generation of the Dutton family no less plagued by violence. Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford play husband Jacob and Cara Dutton respectively.
“Men are quick to kill with a bullet or a noose,” Dutton family matriarch Cara says in the trailer. “But their fight is with me and I kill much slower.”
Set in 1923 in the vast countryside of Montana, it takes place three decades before the birth of Yellowstone protagonist John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) and 40 years after the events of 1883, the first of the Yellowstone prequel series. , Variety notes.
