Indiana Jones 5 has an aged Harrison Ford due to the ‘adrenaline rush’ of its opening – and this is the first time Harrison Ford believes it.

Indiana Jones 5 Director Explains Aging
In a new interview with Empire , director James Mangold revealed how the opening minutes of Indiana Jones will reintroduce fans to Indiana Jones as they best remember him: his lead appearance in “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
“I wanted a chance to dive into that old picture of George and Steven and give the audience an adrenaline rush… and then we’d fall out and you’d find yourself in 1969,” he said.
The sequence follows Indy in a “Nazi-infested castle,” the publication reports, before shifting to the film’s main timeline during the space race.

Harrison Ford Says Aging Is ‘A Little Scary’
Ford admitted to Empire that aging is “a little scary” — but it’s also the first time he’s seen it used where he “believes in it.”
“I don’t think I even want to know how it works, but it does. But it doesn’t make me want to be young. I’m glad I’ve lived up to my age,” he said.
Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy said she wanted audiences to feel like they were seeing “found footage … this was something they shot 40 years ago,” having pieced together the sequence from the star’s archived footage and using the new ILM to bring it software. to life.
