BENGALURU, Aug 19 (Reuters) – Adani Power Ltd ( ADAN.NS ) said on Friday it would buy thermal power plant operator DB Power for an enterprise value of 70.17 billion rupees ($879.14 million) as the largest private thermal power producer in India seems to be expanding. operation.

Adani Power has an installed capacity of 12,450 MW and its power projects are spread across the Indian states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh, according to its website.
