Ford announced today that they have officially opened the doors to a new dealership in North Texas. The highly anticipated site is located on 18 acres of prime real estate in the heart of Prosper, TX. The event is particularly notable as the dealership is one of the few new locations Ford Motor Company (NYSE: ) has opened in the United States in many years.
Fully equipped, Prosper Ford employs nearly 200 people from Prosper and surrounding communities.
This forward-thinking, eco-friendly dealership is recognized for its sustainability efforts through Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and is equipped with numerous on-site electric vehicle charging stations.
The service station is designed primarily with the needs of customers in mind, offering a number of amenities such as a luxurious customer lounge equipped with workstations, free Wi-Fi and large-screen televisions.
Fi stock is down 0.17% in mid-day trading on Monday.
