JEE Main 2023 Exam Date: JEE Main 2023 registration will start in November; Session 1 exams are likely to be held in January | Rare Techy

The application process for National Testing Agency Joint Entrance Examination and JEE Mains 2023 is expected to start soon. According to the latest reports about the same, the JEE Main 2023 registration will start from the third week of November on the official website. Once the application process starts, candidates can apply online at jemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates should know that this year exam will be conducted in two sessions like last year. The JEE Main was held in two sessions – one from June 23 to 29 and session two from July 25 to 30. According to the report, JEE Main 2023 Session 1 will be held in January and Session 2 in April.

JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern:

This year, JEE Main is likely to keep the same exam pattern as last year. Accordingly JEE Main will be divided into two sessions. Section A, the compulsory section will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), while Section B will have questions, the answers of which must be filled in as a numerical value.

Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer in Section A, however, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. In Section B, any five questions out of the 10 given are to be attempted. There will be no negative marking for category B.

Interested candidates should also know that the syllabus of IIT entrance exam – JEE Advanced – has been revised. All the candidates can check the official website for more information about the syllabus.

In 2022, a total of 10,26,799 candidates registered for JEE Main 2022 – including two attempts in June and July. Out of this, 9,05,590 students appeared for the exam. 24 candidates secured 100 percent marks and secured the first rank in the engineering entrance exam.

Meanwhile, National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) registration is expected to start in March and interested candidates can apply at the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
