Lucknow: Lucknow based Dr. Days after the ragging scandal erupted at the Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, several students of the institution have now been caught cheating during their final semester exams. On Tuesday, university officials recovered 4-5 mobile phones and written notes from the possession of the examinees.
Sharing more details, Chief Proctor KA Pandey said, “Proctorial board members found the chits written by the students. Their answer sheets were changed and the matter was referred to the unfair means committee. The panel will seek clarification from all these students. Also, they will have to appear again in the said examination which will be held later. He added that first and third semester law students appeared for the examination on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, when asked if any action has been taken against the students involved in the ragging incident, Pandey said that there has been no progress in the ragging case as the examination is underway. However, the allegations leveled by the new students will definitely be looked into.
