Montez Ford says he’s recovered from his injury and ready to go and will return to WWE immediately. He has a plan.
during an appearance on NBC Today show with his wife and fellow WWE Superstar Bianca Belair, Montez Ford revealed that he is healthy, ready to go, and expected to return to WWE soon.
One half of The Street Profits, Ford and Angelo Dawkins haven’t been on TV much lately, with Ford suffering a shin injury and wearing walking boots. Ford said he was “100 percent” healthy, then added, “I should be back soon. You know, just picking my spots and making sure the mission is still at hand, which is [with] my right hand man 100 grand angelo dawkins this is an undisputed tag team [champions].”
There has been talk that WWE might want to push Ford as a singles star. The fact that he says his priority is to return with Dawkins as his tag team partner and fight for the WWE Tag Team Championship is a good sign for fans of the duo. Their last match was on the September 19 episode of Raw, where they lost to The Brawling Brutes, but they remain the top contenders in the tag team division. They hold tag titles on all three brands and are constantly in the mix when it comes to WWE’s best tag teams.
Who is The Street Profits fighting?
If they do return, one would expect them to return to Raw, where they have been a staple of the brand for some time. The teams listed on Raw include Alpha Academy, Gallows and Anderson of The OC, Elias and Riddle, and there’s always the potential that they could feud with a team like The Dirty Dawgs, with reports that Robert Roode could be returning soon. .
Part of that may depend on The Street Profits being creative or keeping them as babyfaces.
