MANILA, Philippines – A total of 18,529 out of 24,903 (74.40%) applicants passed the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Wednesday.
Abigail Garganta Ramirez, an applicant from St. Paul University-Dumaguete, topped the exams with a score of 90%, PRC said.
She is followed by Jezrel Kabazis Alijid (West Visayas State University – La Paz) and Melchor Flores Pimentel Jr. (St. Louis University) with a rating of 89.80% according to the commission list.
With a score of 89.60%, the following placed third in the NLE: Emmanuel John Dorado Aggabao (West Visayas State University-La Paz), Adrian Miguel Amil (Cebu Normal University – Cebu State College), Jade Alexi Enriquez Aranda (University of San Tomas), Antoinette Feliz Akazo Calimot (Cebu Normal University – Cebu State College), Michelle Joy Ledoma Lim (Turlac State University-Turlac College of Technology), Nika Tan Parulan (Dr. Yangas Colleges INC. Boko).

According to the PRC, the NLE was conducted from November 12 to 13 in various testing centers across the country, including the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, and Pampanga. Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Nursing who conducted the inspection were Chairman Elsie Tee and members Carmelita Divinagracia, Elizabeth Lagrito, Zenaida Gagno, Marylou Ong, Merle Salvani and Leah Primitiva Pacquis.
PRC reminds successful applicants that online appointments for issuance of their professional IDs and registration certificates will be held from January 9 to 13, January 16 to 20 and January 23 to 27.
