Kolkata: The West Bengal Diploma in Elementary Education, WBDEIED 2022 exam paper was allegedly leaked an hour before the exam on Monday, November 28, following which West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) president Gautam Pal ordered an inquiry, according to reports.
The exam, which was held from 12 noon to 3 pm, was leaked around 11 am and circulated on social media. According to reports, photocopies of the newspaper were sold in Malda and Murshidabad.
In the academic year 2020-2022, the board conducted the DElEd Part 2 exam from November 28-November 30 to 3 pm, while the first paper focused on the field of education, while the second and third papers will address modernity respectively. Studies and teaching across the curriculum.
“This is not a leak as the candidates entered the centers before 11 am. It is betrayal of trust and we will definitely find it. We will form an inquiry committee for an internal probe,” WBBPE president Pal told reporters.
The WB DEIED exam has witnessed these issues before and hence the exams are conducted at ‘away centres’ in various schools and colleges apart from being conducted at home centres.
