CAT Exam Analysis: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 exam today on November 27. As per the schedule, the CAT exam will be held in three shifts – Morning (8:30 am – 10:30 am. ), Afternoon (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm) and Evening (4:30 pm – 6:30 pm). Candidates appearing for CAT must carry their admit card and other prescribed documents.
Once, MBA entrance exam slot 1 ends at 10.30 am, CAT 2022 exam analysis will be provided by coaching institutes here. CAT exam analysis includes difficulty level of sections, weightage of subjects, test pattern, number of good attempts and section CAT cut-offs. CAT 2022 Slot 1 starts at 8.30 am
Currently, CAT candidates have started visiting the allotted exam center. For slot 1, candidates must have received their scribble pads. They should log in at 8.15 am and start the exam at 8.30 am. Candidates do not need to carry pen and paper as these items are provided by the exam conductors. They can bring hand sanitizer and water in transparent bottles.
CAT 2022 Exam Pattern
According to the recently released updates and notifications, this year, there is no notification about the changes in the CAT paper pattern, so we expect a total of 66 questions divided into 3 sections. VARC, DILR and QA will have 24, 20 and 22 questions respectively. The duration of CAT 2022 will be 120 minutes and the sectional time limit will be 40 minutes. CAT Score vs Percentile
As the CAT 2022 exam is conducted in different sessions, the authorities will follow a normalization process to calculate the result. According to an official statement, “to ensure fairness and equity in comparing the performance of the candidates across different test sessions, the scores of the candidates will be subjected to a normalization process.”
