The jogging tracks, which maintain a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, are meant to encourage visitors to exercise throughout the harsh summer to improve their health and fitness.

Air conditioning technology relies on solar panels to generate 60% of the energy needed to operate the air conditioners. This will reduce energy consumption while maintaining a constant temperature.

The park has many great facilities, including a fitness box where guests can work out while watching a trainer show the exercises on the screen.

There are also two children’s play areas in the park, one for 2 to 5 year olds and one for 6 to 12 year olds, both of which are fun and addictive games.

There are also seven service kiosks, six for food and beverages, one kiosk for bicycle rental, and bicycle parking.

The park can accommodate around 6,000 visitors per day.

Its green areas cover 68% of its total surface, and there are 912 trees of 18 species, including 75 native trees and 820 square meters of long green walls around the park.

Umm Al Seneem Park, covering more than 130,000 square meters, is part of the ministry’s initiative to enhance Qatar’s quality of life by expanding its green space.

The country’s green spaces have increased 10 times compared to 2010, mostly due to new parks, landscaping and green spaces, officials say.

Public parks across the country have exercise equipment, children’s play areas, and walking trails, some of which are ventilated for the comfort of visitors.

Parks have been developed with sustainability goals to reduce the carbon footprint and offer fresh air to visitors.
