Rio and others in delivering SBI loan sanction letters to businessmen in Kohima on December 1.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today handed over the State Bank of India (SBI) loan sanction letters to entrepreneurs through the Business Association of Nagas (BAN).

During the celebration of the 60th Independence Day in Kohima, the credit ban letters were delivered.

The initiative launched by the Nagas Business Association and the goodwill of the State Bank of India to finance 1000 entrepreneurs across the state is a welcome step in shaping the economic vision of the state.

Rio along with Vincent Menachery, General Manager, Circle North East SBI jointly handed over the sanction letters to the first 11 (eleven) entrepreneurs through BAN, President L Mongkum Jamir.

The total loan sanctioned is Rs 4.57 crore. The beneficiaries are from Tuensang, Longleng, Wokha and Dimapur district covering various sectors.

Later, SBI donated Rs 10 lakh for the Hornbill Festival.
