A CHOIR group from Southampton get into the Christmas spirit with a carol service at Chandler’s Ford Church.
The Southampton Choral Society will be performing at Ford Methodist Church in Chandler on Saturday, December 10th.
Founded in 1943, the choir now has over 100 members and is led by musical director Andrew Hayward, who took over after the group’s 75th anniversary. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Southampton, Cllr Jacqui Rayment, is Honorary President of the Choral Society.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., the concert will feature Austrian composer Joseph Hady’s Missa Sancti Nicolai and Manchester Carols with poems by Carol Ann Duffy set to music by Sasha Johnson Manning.
