Karma Energy (up 4.94%), Alstom T&D India (up 2.44%), Gujarat Industries Power (up 1.60%), Daya Torrent (up 1.50%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures (up 1, 34%), Orient Green Power Company (up 1.16). %), Energy Development Company (up 1.03%), Kalpataru Power Transmission (up 0.95%), CESC (up 0.73%) and Suzlon Energy (up 0.61%) were among the best performers.

Indowind Energy (down 4.23%), Indo Tech Transformers (down 3.24%), NLC India (down 2.73%), SJVN (down 2.70%), Jyoti Structures (down 2.66%), PTC India (down 2.61%), Inox Wind Energy (down 2.58%), Inox wind (down 2.53%), NHPC (down 1.45%) and Adani Power (down 1.44%) were the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 2.9 points down at 18346.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 115.18 points at 61679.86 at around 11:15AM.

Hindalco Industries (up 4.66%), Tata Motors (up 3.11%),

Business (up 2.57%), Grasim Industries (up 1.98%), Tata Steel (up 1.44%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.25%), Britannia Industries (up 1.12%), Tech Mahindra (up 0.92%), UPL Ltd. (up 0.87%) and Infosys (up 0.86%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Dr Reddys Laboratories (down 4.14%), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.42%), ICICI Bank (down 1.26%), Hindustan Unilever (down 1.01%), Bharti Airtel (down 0.89%), ITC ( down 0.76%), Nestle India (down 0.76%), Titan Company Ltd (down 0.71%), Bajaj Finance (down 0.59%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS (down 0.56%) traded in the red .
