Common Admission Test, CAT 2022 exam ends. The last slot of the B-school entrance exam ended at 6:30 pm. Students who wrote the CAT 2022 exam in the third slot shared initial reviews and rated the paper of “moderate” difficulty level. According to the experts, the paper was not too difficult but introduced a variety of new questions in sections like VARC.

This year, questions on para completion were added, which are unexpected but provide scoring to students. In total CAT 2022 question paper has 66 questions out of which VARC has 24 questions, DILR section has 20 questions and QA section has 22 questions.

If we talk about section-wise exam analysis, QA section is rated as the most difficult one as the questions are longer.

CAT 2022 Marking Scheme

As per CAT 2022 marking scheme, 3 marks are awarded for correct answers in MCQs and 1 mark is deducted for wrong answer. There is no negative marking in non-MCQs.

CAT 2022: I.I.M Cut-offs

CAT cut-offs for top IIMs are usually 98 to 100 percentile for general category students. IIM cut off 2022 is less than 95 to 98 percentile for reserved category students.

Now, as the CAT exam is over, the answer keys will be released as per the fixed schedule. The CAT 2022 result is expected to be released in the second week of January.
