The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will conduct the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams from March 1 to 31, 2023. However, recently, around 11 private and government schools have not filled the registration forms of students. MP Board Secretary Shrikant Banoth assured that these children will not be prevented from appearing for the exam.

After the meeting, he said strict action would be taken against negligent school administrators and principals. At present some of the 11 schools have provided the children’s examination form and fee. However, the examination fees of more than 582 children are yet to be settled.

The MP Board had fixed the examination fee for class 10 and 12 at Rs.900. Last date for submission of fee is September 30. Few more days are allowed to submit fee with late fee of Rs.100, till November 20, with late fee of Rs.2000.

Many government and private schools could not afford the children’s fees. 11 of these schools are from Bhopal. Following this, MPBSE has ordered to charge a fee of Rs 5729 per student. According to this, the schools had to pay more than 11 crore rupees. Some schools collected donations and invested their share.

There are 582 students who have not paid the board examination fee. Now the schools will invest Rs 35 lakh in the board. Teachers of many schools have also donated Rs 10,000 each.

As per the notification, the theory exams will be conducted from 1st to 31st March and the practical exams will be held from 13th to 28th February. The exams will be conducted on the entire syllabus. The Board of Secondary Education Class 10th and 12th Board Exams will start from February 13, 2023. Practical exams will be held from 13 to 28 February 2023 and theory exams from 01 March to 31 March 2023,” said MP Education Minister Inder. Singh Pramar had earlier tweeted.
