After his role Yellowstone spin-off in 1923Harrison Ford is heading back to TV again Apple TV+ series Shrinking. (Does the streamer love one word titles that to begin together “S” or what?) Iconic Blade Runner the actor co-starred with Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and the comedy also features Christa Miller (Crusts), Jessica Williams (2 Dope Queens), Michael Urie (Ugly Betty), Luke Tennie (Deadly class) and Lukita Maxwell (Generation).

The first look at the series doesn’t offer much in the way of plot details, but the official synopsis reads:

Shrinking follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who begins to break the rules and tell her clients exactly what she thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making big and turbulent changes in people’s lives… including his own.

Shrinking created by Segel and Ted Lasso’s Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein. James Ponsoldt, who directed Segel’s performance as David Foster Wallace in 2015. End of tourdirected the first episode. Crusts veteran Lawrence also has a Vince Vaughn-starring series adaptation of Carl Hiaasen’s crime novel Bad monkey Apple TV+ in action.

Besides in 1923 and ShrinkingFord was recently announced to be replaces William Hurt as General Thaddeus Ross in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and makes his debut Captain America: The New World Order. He also took the hat and whip again for the fifth time Indiana Jones movie, will premiere next year.

Segel was last seen in the acclaimed HBO series Winning time: The rise of a Lakers dynasty. His other recent works include Accidental drop, Heaven is everywhereand the AMC miniseries Shipments from elsewherewhich he created, participated in and co-wrote.

Shrinking premieres on Apple TV+ on January 27 with the first two episodes, followed by weekly installments.
