Telecom Business Council & SBI set up a working training facility for women in Gurgaon

Gurugram, November 29 (KNN) Aiming to provide placement-related skill development courses, the Telecom Sector Skills Council (TSSC) on Monday signed an agreement with SBI Cards and Payment Services to develop a telecom center of excellence (CoE) at Government College for Girls, Gurugram.

KE is launched as part of the CSR initiative to empower women. The center is set to align the National Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for short-term courses in telecom service roles, an official statement said.

Within the framework of this cooperation, TSSC will provide training to 763 women in the next two years.

“The CSR project under this partnership will be an important boost in the skills of young women and help them instill the spirit of self-confidence to find new job roles. An opportunity for women and their empowerment,” TSSC CEO Arvind Bali. said

The CSR project was envisaged under the TSSC Lifetime Enhancement and Enhancement Program (LEAP) to include basic and secondary skill building for the upcoming and legacy telecommunications courses. (KNN Bureau)
