Ford Australia has revealed a new Platinum trim for the Ranger, which sits between the Wildtrack and Raptor and offers more premium looks and features. Like the closely related Ford Everest Platinum SUV, the pickup truck comes with fairly generous standard equipment and is only offered with the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel.
The new trim is distinguished by a visually unique chrome grille, platinum lettering on the hood, standard Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, silk chrome accents and a version-specific Equinox Bronze exterior shade available as an option.
