Srinagar: The school education department of Kashmir said that the admission process in all the schools in the valley will start only after the annual examinations are over.

Director of School Education Kashmir informed that no new admissions will be held here as no annual examination has been conducted so far.

The director said that there are guidelines from the administration that new admissions should be started only after the exams are over.

As for the entry fee, he said; Only the fee fixed by the Fee Fixation Committee shall be charged.

Regarding winter fees, he said that parents are liable to pay only tuition fee to their wards and no other fee, even transport fee.

The director added that the Jammu and Kashmir government has started heating arrangements in a phased manner as the region is witnessing cold season.
