The number of female students in SSC exams is higher than their male counterparts | Rare Techy

Female students are ahead of their male counterparts in terms of pass rate in SSC or equivalent exams this year.

Out of 8,73,573 female students who appeared for the exam this year, 87.71 per cent passed, while the number of boys passed was 8,70,0,46 with 87.16 per cent pass, according to the SSC results published on Monday, BSS reports. .

Out of the GPA-5 holders this year, 1,48,446 are female and 1,21,156 are male students.

A total of 2,975 educational institutions achieved 100 per cent pass in the examinations as against 5,494 last year.

Among them 225 institutions are from Dhaka, 147 from Rajshahi, 211 from Kumila, 513 from Jashore, 71 from Chattogram, 149 from Barisal, 27 from Sylhet, 87 from Dinajpur, 64 from Mymensingh and 1,305 from Madrasa Board. Technical Education Board (BTEB),

The result was officially announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through video conferencing from Ganobhaban.

The results are now available through mobile operators’ Short Messaging Service (SMS) and www.educationboardresults.gov.bd website.

The SSC and its equivalent examinations started on September 15 as per the revised and restructured syllabus and the examination of each subject was held in 2 hours instead of 3 hours.
