Navi Mumbai: A 30-year-old Mumbai doctor has filed a complaint against her mother for allegedly cheating during the online LLB exam.

Further, the daughter alleged that the mother had an extra-marital affair and asked a man to write the 6th semester LLB exam for her during the lockdown period.

“Daughter lives with father in Mumbai and mother alone in Nerul. “The daughter accused the mother of malpractice and cheating the Mumbai University while appearing for the law exam,” said Tanaki Bhagat, senior inspector, Nerul police station.

According to the complainant, her mother enrolled herself for LLB in 2005 and appeared for backlog several times.

In 2020, when all exams are conducted online, the mother took advantage and asked someone she knew to take the exam online with the camera off.

“We are investigating the matter. “We will issue her a notice to appear before the police under Section 41A (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure,” Bhagat said.
