UG Exams Begin Today; Holiday on election days | Rare Techy
Aurangabad: Dr. The winter session examinations of various undergraduate courses under the jurisdiction of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) will begin on November 22.
Dr Ganesh Mansa, Board of Examination and Evaluation (BOEE) of the university, said that around 3.12 lakh students will appear for the UG courses in all semesters (except first semester) at 240 centers in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts. Humanities have the highest number of candidates
Humanities and Social Sciences (1.48 lakh), Science and Technology (1.19 lakh) and Commerce and Management Science (43,269) have the highest number of candidates for UG courses.
Papers are closed on election days
The university senate elections will be held in the current week and on the second day of December. Therefore, no paper will be held on 25th and 26th November and 9th and 10th December. Dr. Mansa appealed to the students to take note of this.
District wise Centre, Vigilance Squads
There are 240 centers in four districts of the division. The university has formed 32 vigilance squads to prevent irregularities during the examination. District wise number of UG centers and squads are as follows; Aurangabad (99 centres—11 centres), Jalna (53—-six), Beed (62—ten) and Osmanabad (30—five).
Examination of other courses next month
The first semester examinations of all traditional courses, professional UG and postgraduate courses will be conducted in December.
