The notification announced that the department will follow the direct recruitment procedure to appoint the eligible candidates for the posts in the state of Uttarakhand. 46 vacancies for this post are notified to the applicants and applications are invited till 30th August 2021.
Importance of UKPSC FRO Admit Card
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission will issue admit cards or hall tickets to all the candidates appearing in the examination for the post of Forest Range Officer in Uttarakhand. The examination will be conducted at centers in various cities of the state and registered candidates will be able to appear for the examination. However, candidates must carry the hall ticket to enter the examination hall. Hall ticket or admit card is the identity document of the candidate. It proves that the candidate is registered to appear in the examination and is permitted by the authorities to appear in the examination.
Moreover, the admit card contains the important information of the candidate like the roll number which he/she needs to know during the examination. If a candidate forgets or fails to provide this document, he/she will be debarred from attempting the examination. The admit card will be shown to the invigilator while entering the examination hall and a virtual copy will not be accepted. Hence, applicants are advised to always carry the printed copy of the admit card.

UKPSC FRO Selection Procedure
46 vacancies have been released. UKPSC authorities had received many applications for this. To avoid chaos, the selection will be conducted in three phases. The first phase will be conducted on November 28 and will be objective type. Candidates have to attempt multiple choice questions or MCQs of 150 marks within 2 hours. Qualified students will be selected for the second phase of the examination which is a written test of 700 marks.
Candidates will also go through an interview round of 75 marks. These scores will be evaluated out of a total of 775 and eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. The score in the first stage will not be observed in the final judgment of the candidate.
