The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) branch has decided to suspend one-day examinations on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Registrar, UNIMAID, Ahmad A. Loven in a letter dated November 18, 2022 informed that reference No. R/ADM examinations have been postponed. 10/Vol. XII.
The letter reads in excerpts: “This is to inform all staff and students that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Maiduguri Branch has decided to suspend one day of examinations on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Non-payment of arrears and half of the salary for the month of October.
“All staff and students are hereby informed that the examinations scheduled for November 22, 2022 will be conducted at the end of the examination schedules of their respective departments.
“All Deans and Heads of Departments are requested to take note of the above and make adequate arrangements for conducting the examinations, affecting their faculties/departments, please,” the statement added.
