New Delhi, October 31 (IANS): Electronics manufacturer Veira Group on Monday announced its partnership with Skyworth, a leading global technology brand, to manufacture Android and Google TVs in India.
Through this partnership, Skyworth will help Veira with its technology solution for Android and Google TV to produce premium and affordable televisions in India.
“We look forward to this partnership to continue to deliver a better experience to our users, making smart TVs the best they can be,” Sharan Maini, Managing Director, Veira Group, said in a statement.
“With this development of Android TVs in Veira, we will be able to offer our customers a more India-focused, cost-effective, and fast manufacturing of LED TVs. ,” he added.
The Skyworth Group provides Veira with technological advancements and price optimization for Android TVs. A partnership of this magnitude will provide the Indian television market with competitive and cutting-edge technology solutions.
Recently, the Veira Group invested Rs 200 crore in its new manufacturing facility.
The company’s new manufacturing facility has the capacity to produce four million televisions in addition to accessories such as washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners, according to the company.
