Ford has made almost all of its pickups with the muscle truck Raptor package. That is, except for the Super Duty F-250 and F-350 trucks. But now Super Duty’s head of engineering has said that a Super Duty Raptor could be coming. You just have to ask for it.
Is the Ford Tremor package the same as the Raptor package?

That’s what Aaron Bresky told Ford Authority. Specifically, he said, “I don’t think there’s any limit to that, and we always listen to our customers.” So if you want to see a Super Duty Raptor truck, you’re going to have to start flooding Ford with truck requests.
That’s not to say Ford doesn’t want its heavy-duty trucks to have a performance option. By 2023, it will make the Tremor off-road package available for Super Duty trucks. It’s Ford’s answer to a more rugged off-road pickup. The company also has a Tremor package for the Maverick and F-150 trucks. But that’s a notch below what the Raptor offers for those trucks.

So there could or should be something in Ford’s hierarchy that marks the pinnacle of Super Duty trucks. And that would be Raptor, not Tremor.
Ford has saturated its Raptor high-performance package in the Maverick, Ranger, Bronco and F-150 truck lines. In fact, the F-150 line gets the Raptor R package.
What features does the Super Duty Tremor have?

Alas, Super Duty truck buyers only have to contend with the Super Duty Tremor. With the Super Duty Tremor, Ford adds 35-inch Goodyear DuraTrac tires wrapped around 18-inch wheels. Also upgraded are the raised suspension, running boards, skid plates and Warn winch.
One slick feature on the 2023 that it adds from the Bronco is Trail Turn Assist. It applies internal rear brakes for tight turns. This is a necessary feature that you didn’t know until you learned about it.

Both the Godzilla 6.8L and 7.3L gas engines are available with the Tremor package. So the Super Duty Raptor version should improve the performance figures of the 7.3L. Hypothetically, it should have a towing capacity of 6,500 pounds, zero to 60 in less than five seconds. And it should really add an electronically controlled front anti-sway bar to disengage when off-roading is required.
The bottom line is that Ford should already be working out what the Super Duty Raptor package would include. Whether it could bring out mid-2023 or extend into 2024, we hope to hear more soon. Until then, keep looking behind Ford to see the Super Duty Raptor in high demand.
