XAMI members include top management institutes like XLRI, XIM Bhubaneswar, XISS, XIME and 8 other institutes.

This year, seats in PGDM (BM) courses have been increased from 180 to 240 at XLRI Jamshedpur campus and from 120 to 180 at Delhi campus. From this year onwards, the XAT exam will be held from 2:00 PM onwards. PM to 5:10 PM. The change was based on feedback from students who had to travel long distances to reach the XAT test centre.

XLRI launches new courses – 2-year XLRI-Rutgers Double Master’s Program in Logistic and Supply Chain Management and Analytics in collaboration with Rutgers Business School, USA, the oldest and highest ranked University B-School and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Venture Creations). Details can be found on the official website.

More than 160 institutes use XAT scores for admission purposes. TAPMI, Great Lakes, GIM, XIMB, IRMA, KJ Somaiya, MICA and many more are some of the top management institutes that accept XAT scores. A candidate can apply for more than one programme. Applicants for multiple programs may be called for multiple interviews and/or group discussions. Selection criteria for different programs may vary depending on the nature of the program. XAT online test will have different components and one needs to maximize their performance in each of them. In pursuit of academic excellence, XLRI actively encourages students from diverse backgrounds to apply. Apart from performance in personal interviews (and/or group discussions), XAT performance, relevant work experience and academic background are also taken into consideration while preparing the final list.

XAT exam tries to be the exam for real managerial candidates. Candidates can solve sections like Decision Making and General Knowledge. “XAT tests candidates for the skills expected by the market,” said Prof Vishwa Ballabh, Admission Convenor of XAT 2023.
